I found it through Mashable, the digital daily news site. I think the creepy acting is a good reflection on the creepy nature of disconnection. After watching it, I was more intrigued as to how and why people are creating this type of technology more so than the fact that it is actually being created at all. Glad it piqued your interest!

I’m wondering if you’ve seen the Augmented Video of glasses that nurture empathy. Check it out if you haven’t seen it especially since you raised the interest in wanting to know how and why people utilize tools of technology to investigate the ways in which we make decisions and/or perceive the world around us.

I’m interested in how you found this video. At first, I didn’t care too terribly much for the acting BUT it fit. There was an awkwardness and the strangeness depicted in the short film. Imagining our world with automation based on our bodily functions, preferences, and experiences is not as far away as we would like to think. There is so much technological advancement happening in the healthcare industry and augmented reality is becoming much more pravelent. In any case, thanks for posting this.
